Because Xypex has no restriction on pour size or shape, Xypex Admix was the contractor’s chosen waterproofing solution for the basement of this new centrepiece development in Gateshead. Xypex Admix was also used to waterproof the 150 mm structural topping on the suspended car park deck, loading bay ramp and loading bay deck. Additionally, Xypex Admix was used to resolve waterproofing issues that manifested themselves during the construction program with a total of nearly 1,000 m3 of concrete with Xypex Admix being placed.
